Roofing Contractor in Horsham, PA

Licensed Roofers Serving Horsham Township and Montgomery County

Roofs here fail on a schedule set by Pennsylvania weather: freeze-thaw through the winter, wind-driven rain in spring, and the heat that bakes south-facing slopes all August. What you want from a roofing contractor in Horsham, PA is a clear read on which of those has already reached your decking, and what it takes to stop it.

William Penn Roofing & Exteriors has handled inspections, leak repairs, storm damage, and replacements across the township since 2008, on split-levels off Welsh Road and flex buildings on Gibraltar Road alike. Our crews run Horsham, Montgomeryville, and Warrington most weeks, so an active leak here usually gets same-day attention.

Dave with WPR replaced the roof on our sunroom as well as siding and trim on the front of our house. His crew arrived on time, were professional & cleaned up after they finished. My husband & I are extremely happy with the finished product. We would recommend WPR to anyone needing roofing, trim, siding or gutters. You can trust this company.

I had the pleasure of working with the owner David of William Penn Roofing. He was very helpful with making all of the tough choices with having so many options. The work was completed on time, even in the bad weather. They were very thorough in their cleanup as well. I would highly recommend them for any of your roofing or siding needs! Even there show van as all of the options inside so you can see them in person.

I had roof damage from high winds and reached out for help. Dave responded quickly, arrived promptly, and thoroughly inspected the roof. He identified that the damage was isolated to one area and was able to repair it on the spot. His professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail were outstanding. I truly appreciated his quick response and quality workmanship. Highly recommend his services to anyone in need of a reliable and skilled roofer!

We recently had William Penn Roofing replace our roof and they did an incredible job from top to bottom. The representative, Kim, did a great job of getting our quote and presenting options to us. The roofing team did a superb 1-day job and cleaned up our yard well. The project manager on the job was there the whole time to answer our questions also! I highly recommend.

Our roof replacement on 274 East Court Street, Doylestown, was expertly done by William Penn Roofing with a minimum of disturbance to neighbors and traffic. David La Salle’s initial inspection of the failing roof was thorough and quickly followed by a quote. Scheduling and execution were efficient and communication between crew, tenants, neighbors and owners courteous and effective, avoiding all misunderstandings. Supervisors and crew were very professional and friendly and they thoroughly cleaned the job site, side walk and street after completing the job. It is a pleasure to recommend William Penn Roofing, based on quality of work, cost and work crew performance.

Really great experience the whole way through with this company. They are excellent with communication, returning calls/emails. Ashley got everything all setup. On the first visit, Kim was very thorough, explaining the whole process, and he had everything with him to be able to show us what we'd be buying (gutter size options, roof colors, and the vents). There was even a folder he left with me with literature and samples I could share with my husband. When the roofers came out they were polite, tidyand did an excellent job with cleanup. It's been 10 days and we have not found a single piece of roofing remnants. The gutters were installed the following day, we opted for 6 inch gutters and downspouts with the gutter guards and couldn't be happier. Again, very professional team and impeccable cleanup. I'd absolutely recommend going with this company for your project and hope to work with them again when we need future work on the house.

William Penn Roofing came to give me a complete inspection of my roof. He explained in detail everything about the roofing from the attic area to the outside. Extremely helpful!
Google Guaranteed Service Provider Roofing Company

Residential Roofing Services Designed for Long-Term Performance

Our residential roofing services cover everything from a single slope to a full tear-off, scoped to what the roof actually needs rather than what is easiest to sell. The same construction patterns repeat a few miles west, which is why the roofs we replace in Dresher and Ambler share the same weak points as the ones here.

Basement Water

Roof Inspection & Leak Diagnosis

We photograph what we find, trace leaks to the entry point, and check attic ventilation while we are up there, since trapped heat and moisture cook shingles from below.

Horsham, PA

Roof Maintenance, Cleaning & Repair

Debris from the mature oaks and maples on these streets is what clogs gutters and feeds the algae streaking on north-facing slopes. We clear it and repair the small failures before winter turns them into interior damage.

Horsham, PA

Roof Replacement & New Roof Installation

Replacement means a full tear-off, an inspection of the decking, and fresh underlayment before a single shingle goes down. We drop a dumpster, protect the landscaping, and run a magnet across the yard before the crew leaves.

Balding Roof Shingle

Storm Damage Roof Repair

Downbursts and ice both leave damage that is invisible from the driveway, so photograph any stain you find and call. Our storm damage repair work is documented in the format insurers actually want.

Permitting is one of the few things that changes the moment you cross the township line into Fort Washington or Dresher. We file it either way, and the schedule accounts for it.

Repair or Replace: How We Make the Call

Repair usually wins when the damage sits on one slope or one detail and the decking under it is solid. Replacement is the better spend once an asphalt roof passes twenty years, leaks keep surfacing in new spots, or there is already a second layer up there ruling out another overlay.

Either way, you see photos of what we found before you decide.

Accurate pricing depends on the roof itself. Square footage, pitch, the number of existing shingle layers, the condition of the decking, and access around the property all move the final number.

Commercial Roofing Services for Offices, Retail Buildings, and Multi-Unit Properties

Horsham carries more commercial square footage than most townships its size, much of it in the office parks and flex buildings clustered off Welsh Road and Gibraltar Road. Our commercial roofing work is built around tenants who cannot stop operating while the roof gets fixed.

Missing Shingles

Commercial Roof Maintenance & Repair

Scheduled maintenance catches ponding, split seams, and failed penetrations while they are still cheap. We work around business hours and keep access lanes clear.

Roof Sealing

Commercial Roof Restoration, Waterproofing & Flat Roof Repair

Restoration can add years to a flat roof that is worn but structurally sound. We repair seams, address drainage, and apply waterproofing systems that hold up to Pennsylvania freeze-thaw cycling.

Commercial Roof Replacement

When a system is past restoring, we phase replacement to keep the building operating. Crews stage materials, protect entrances, and coordinate around tenant schedules.

Roofing Materials Chosen for Durability, Performance, and Curb Appeal

Material choice depends on the structure, the look you want, and how long you plan to own the property. What follows is what we install most often on homes and buildings in this area.

Exterior Improvements That Help Protect the Rest of Your Property

A roof is one part of the shell. Gutters, siding, skylights, windows, and failing stucco all affect how a building handles moisture, and a leak blamed on the roof often starts somewhere else.

Sagging Gutter

Gutter Repair and Gutter Installation

Undersized or clogged gutters push water back under the shingle edge and down against the foundation. Our gutter work sizes the system to the roof area feeding it.

Siding

Siding Contractor

We install James Hardie fiber cement along with vinyl and composite options through our siding installation crews. Fiber cement holds up especially well against the wind-driven rain that hits exposed elevations here.

Upgrade Old Windows and Doors

Original windows in a 1960s split-level leak air and heat well before they leak water. Window and door replacement tightens the envelope and shows up on the utility bill.

Open Skylight

Skylight Install

A well-flashed skylight brightens a dark hallway or stairwell without becoming the leak everyone warns you about. Our skylight installation uses Velux units and manufacturer flashing kits matched to the roof material.

Storm-chasing crews turn up in Horsham after every hail event and are gone before anyone tests a warranty. We have been working Montgomery County roofs since 2008, out of a Doylestown office and a Montgomeryville branch, and owner David LaSalla still puts his name on the jobs.

What that means in practice:

Fading Paint

PA registration PA064886, bonded and insured, BBB accredited, and Google Guaranteed

Fading Paint

GAF Certified Plus, CertainTeed Master Shingle Applicator, and Owens Corning Preferred, which is what puts extended manufacturer warranties within reach on your roof

Fading Paint

Storm claims worked directly with your adjuster, or a referral to local adjusters we have dealt with before

Fading Paint

Roofing, gutters, siding, windows, and stucco handled by one crew, so no trade gets to blame another for the leak

Fading Paint

A referral credit that pays $50 per neighbor, which is how a lot of our work on a given street starts

We cover Montgomery County daily, so a callback in Horsham is a short drive instead of a scheduling problem, and we are still here when a warranty question surfaces years later.

What Horsham Homeowners Ask Before Signing a Roofing Contract

Once you know something is wrong up there, every forecast becomes a small stress test. A stain on the ceiling, a repair bill that keeps growing, a room you stop using when it rains.

Get a free estimate and a clear read on where your roof actually stands, before the next round of weather makes the decision for you.
