I had roof damage from high winds and reached out for help. Dave responded quickly, arrived promptly, and thoroughly inspected the roof. He identified that the damage was isolated to one area and was able to repair it on the spot. His professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail were outstanding. I truly appreciated his quick response and quality workmanship. Highly recommend his services to anyone in need of a reliable and skilled roofer!

We recently had William Penn Roofing replace our roof and they did an incredible job from top to bottom. The representative, Kim, did a great job of getting our quote and presenting options to us. The roofing team did a superb 1-day job and cleaned up our yard well. The project manager on the job was there the whole time to answer our questions also! I highly recommend.

Our roof replacement on 274 East Court Street, Doylestown, was expertly done by William Penn Roofing with a minimum of disturbance to neighbors and traffic. David La Salle’s initial inspection of the failing roof was thorough and quickly followed by a quote. Scheduling and execution were efficient and communication between crew, tenants, neighbors and owners courteous and effective, avoiding all misunderstandings. Supervisors and crew were very professional and friendly and they thoroughly cleaned the job site, side walk and street after completing the job. It is a pleasure to recommend William Penn Roofing, based on quality of work, cost and work crew performance.

Really great experience the whole way through with this company. They are excellent with communication, returning calls/emails. Ashley got everything all setup. On the first visit, Kim was very thorough, explaining the whole process, and he had everything with him to be able to show us what we'd be buying (gutter size options, roof colors, and the vents). There was even a folder he left with me with literature and samples I could share with my husband. When the roofers came out they were polite, tidyand did an excellent job with cleanup. It's been 10 days and we have not found a single piece of roofing remnants. The gutters were installed the following day, we opted for 6 inch gutters and downspouts with the gutter guards and couldn't be happier. Again, very professional team and impeccable cleanup. I'd absolutely recommend going with this company for your project and hope to work with them again when we need future work on the house.

William Penn Roofing came to give me a complete inspection of my roof. He explained in detail everything about the roofing from the attic area to the outside. Extremely helpful!

Roofing Projects Across Pennsylvania

Recent work from across the counties we cover. Each project ties the job to the community, the roof type, and the problem that brought us out.

Roofing Services for Homeowners

Whether the roof needs one repair or a full system, the goal does not change: stop the water, protect what is underneath, and avoid paying twice for the same problem.

Basement Water

Roof Inspection & Leak Detection

We check the roof surface, flashing, chimney lines, penetrations, drip edge, and attic ventilation to find where water is actually entering. You receive photo documentation and a plain explanation of the findings.

Roofing Contractors In Pennsylvania

Roof Repair

Targeted repairs address damaged shingles, worn flashing, and failed penetrations. The point is to stop the leak without expanding into work the roof does not need.

Roofing Contractors In Pennsylvania

Roof Replacement & New Roof Installation

When wear is widespread, a full system is the safer long-term call. Our residential roofing replacements include decking evaluation, ice and water shield, proper underlayment, and sealed penetrations, not new shingles laid over old problems.

Balding Roof Shingle

Storm Damage Repair & Emergency Tarping

Wind and hail loosen shingles, dent flashing, and open the roof to water before anyone notices from the ground. Storm damage repair starts with tarping and photo documentation that supports an insurance claim, with permanent work following once conditions allow.

Plan Your Budget Before You Commit

No two roofs price the same. Size, pitch, material, existing layers, and whatever the tear-off uncovers all move the number, which is why a real figure only comes after someone walks the roof. These two tools give you a starting point before you commit to anything.

Roofing Cost Calculator

The roofing cost calculator gives you a realistic ballpark based on roof size, material, and scope. It is a no-pressure way to set a budget before anyone comes out.

Financing

When a repair or replacement is more than you want to cover at once, financing options spread the cost over time. That makes it easier to fix damage now, before a minor issue becomes a structural one.

Flat Roof and Commercial Roofing Services

Offices, retail, and multi-unit buildings usually run flat or low-slope systems, where seam failures and ponding water cause the real damage. Our commercial roofing work covers properties across the region, including the older mixed-use blocks common through Delaware County.

Missing Shingles

Commercial Roof Repair

Leaks, seam separation, membrane damage, and ponding water get targeted repairs that restore performance. Work is scheduled around your operating hours wherever possible.

Commercial Roof Replacement

When repeated repairs stop making financial sense, a full membrane replacement is the better long-term move. We plan the sequence to keep the building weather-tight throughout.

Roof Sealing

Commercial Roof Coating

Coating systems improve waterproofing and reflectivity while extending service life on certain flat roofs. It is a way to buy years on a system that is worn but not failed.

Our Roofing Process From First Call to Final Walkthrough

Every project runs through the same six steps, so scope, cost, and timing are settled long before a crew shows up.

1. Free On-Site Inspection

Call the office and we schedule a visit to the property. The roof gets inspected properly, including flashing, penetrations, and attic ventilation, before anyone talks about solutions.

2. Written Scope of Work and Transparent Estimate

You receive a digital estimate in your inbox rather than a number guessed at on a clipboard. The scope, materials, deposit, and full payment schedule are laid out before anything is signed.

3. Material Selection and Project Scheduling

We lock in material and color selections, then place supplier orders once your choices are final. Start dates follow material availability and the forecast, because tearing a roof open ahead of an incoming storm helps nobody.

4. Property Protection and Installation

You get a confirmation email with your date and prep instructions. Landscaping and siding are protected before tear-off, and your project specialist arrives early and stays with the crew through the day.

5. Final Walkthrough and Cleanup

Your project manager reviews the finished roof with you and answers anything still open. The crew clears the property with full debris removal and magnetic nail sweeps across the yard and beds.

6. Warranty Registration and Follow-Up

Both the manufacturer product warranty and the workmanship warranty are registered after the install. You leave with documentation rather than loose ends.

One note worth knowing up front: some conditions only show up after the old materials come off. If damaged decking, failed flashing, or code corrections surface after tear-off, those findings are reviewed with you before any added work moves forward.

Roofing Systems and Materials We Install

The right system depends on slope, drainage, building type, and how long you plan to stay.

Roofing Contractors In Pennsylvania

The practical choice for most suburban homes. Modern architectural shingles hold up well against wind and typically last 20 to 30 years.

Roofing Contractors In Pennsylvania

Built for longevity and storm resistance, often lasting 40 years or more. Sheds snow well, which matters at the northern end of our range around Coopersburg.

Roofing Contractors In Pennsylvania

Natural character and real insulation value, in exchange for ongoing maintenance. A fit for specific architectural styles rather than a default choice.

Roofing Contractors In Pennsylvania

Usually specified for architectural details, bays, and accents on older homes through West Chester and similar boroughs. Develops a patina over time while staying exceptionally durable.

Roofing Contractors In Pennsylvania

A premium material with a lifespan measured in decades. Common on older homes in places like Chestnut Hill, where matching what is already on the roof matters, and worth repairing long past the point asphalt would be replaced.

Roofing Contractors In Pennsylvania

A reflective single-ply membrane built for seam strength and long-term performance. Common on commercial buildings and low-slope residential additions.

Roofing Contractors In Pennsylvania

A flexible rubber membrane used widely on flat and low-slope roofs. Handles temperature swings well and repairs cleanly.

Roofing Contractors In Pennsylvania

A layered flat roofing system designed for long-term wear and regular foot traffic. A good fit where roof access is part of daily building use.

Exterior Upgrades That Support a Stronger Exterior

Roof problems rarely stay on the roof. Drainage, cladding, and openings all feed into the same water management system, and splitting them across contractors is how details get missed.

Sagging Gutter

Gutter Replacement

Overflowing or sagging gutters lead to fascia rot and foundation issues. Properly sized gutter systems move water away from the roofline instead of down the wall.

Siding

Siding Replacement

Damaged cladding traps moisture and drags down insulation performance. Siding replacement is sealed and integrated at every roof and drainage connection point.

Open Skylight

Skylight Installation

A skylight should add light without becoming a leak. Skylight work lives or dies on flashing detail, which is why we handle it with the roof rather than after it.

Cracked Siding

Stucco Remediation

Trapped moisture behind stucco causes structural damage well before it shows on the surface. Stucco remediation corrects the underlying cause instead of patching the symptom.

Roofing Contractors In Pennsylvania

Window & Door Installation

Drafts and worn frames undo the work a tight roof does. We install windows and doors from Provia to keep the exterior envelope sealed.

Certified Roofing Work With Manufacturer-Backed Materials

A premium shingle installed wrong fails on the same schedule as a cheap one, which is why manufacturers tie their strongest warranty terms to certified installers. We hold those certifications, and every completed roof leaves with both the manufacturer product warranty and our workmanship warranty registered.

A Roofing Contractor Pennsylvania Homeowners Feel Confident Hiring

Roofing is a crowded trade across these counties, and most quotes look the same on paper. The difference shows up in who answers the phone when water is already coming through a ceiling.

Owner David LaSalla still runs estimates personally, and customers name him directly in their reviews. Here is what that looks like on an actual job:

Fading Paint

Same-day response on active leaks, the line that repeats most often in our reviews

Roofing Questions Pennsylvania Homeowners Ask Most

Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware, Chester, Lehigh, and Philadelphia counties, dispatched from our Doylestown and Montgomeryville offices. If you are near the edge of that range, call and we will tell you straight whether we can get to you.

Pennsylvania requires home improvement contractors to register with the Attorney General’s office. Ours is PA064886, and any contractor working on your home should give you that number without hesitating.

Most townships across the counties we cover require one for a full replacement, and the specifics vary by municipality. We pull the permit as part of the project.

Active leaks get same-day attention whenever the schedule and weather allow, with tarping first if the roof cannot be worked on safely. Running two offices is what makes that response time realistic across a six-county area.

Yes. We are separately registered in New Jersey under NJ-13VH12052900 and cover a similar footprint across the river, with the same crews and the same standards.

Catch Roof Problems Before They Reach Your Ceiling

By the time a stain shows on the ceiling, the leak has usually been running for a while, and the repair only gets more expensive from there.

Book an inspection and you get photo documentation, a straight answer on repair versus replacement, and a written scope with a real timeline. Most repairs finish the same day, and most full replacements are done inside two.
